: I am not religious, but I want to know about Chist.what food christian eat at Christmas day? Every country has its own foods and ways of celebrating Christmas. Christmas is a time of feasting, usually with a family gathering, and a time of special sweets, cakes and cookies. In the USA a typical Christmas dinner would consist of roasted turkey with gravy, (or ham), mashed potatoes, candied sweet potatoes, a green vegetable, rolls and butter, cranberry sauce. Desserts would be various pies, (in the south we like pecan), chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies, special cakes. Children are often given candies in the Christmas stockings. Everyone has their special recipe or dish for Christmas, and there are numerous cook books available for special dishes for the Christmas dinner.
