Here are some gift ideas we've collected. They're all things we know we'd like to be given.
Please note that we do not sell any of these items ourselves. In some cases we do make "affiliate" commissions if we refer a paying customer. However, these commissions do not add to the cost to you and we promise not to let the possibility of a commission take precedence over the honest opinions we give you in our descriptions.

Thomas Nast's Santa Claus
You might call this Santa's first portrait. Thomas Nast (1840-1902) is the famous cartoon artist who first sketched Santa Claus in the visage we now know him -- rolly, polly, and jolly. (We don't see him smoking much anymore, though. Not politically correct for the kids I suppose.)
AllPosters.com offers a 7 x 10 inch print of this famous image mounted on wood for about $50 plus $5 shipping. You can also have it framed traditionally, or just buy the print itself. The mounted option is neat -- it comes permanently bonded to a wood backing (with a beveled black edge) that's braced on the back so that it appears to "float" on the wall.

"It's a Wonderful Life" on DVD
What's Christmas without George Bailey and the gang in Bedford Falls? Now on DVD for $19.
